Claire Nigro is a Long Island artist. After obtaining her degree in fine arts and graphic design, she worked as an art director in Manhattan for ten years. Claire now enjoys a successful career concentrating on oil painting and other forms of art. Many of her paintings have been commissioned and reproduced in Giclee (click). Recently, Claire and three other artists opened a studio/gallery where most of her work is on display. Her studio is open by appointment. Claire also exhibits her work at The Artist Gallery in Greenport, Sidewalk Alley in Mt. Sinai and Soho Art Gallery in Massapequa. Claire has incorporated her passion for Feng Shui (see feng shui section) with her love for painting. Her philosophy is that paintings hold living energy flowing from their source -- the artist.
